Blog post 10: Thesis statement

Write your thesis statement for your paper. That’s it. This entry can be as short as just one sentence, but it will probably be closer to a paragraph. In order to earn credit, your thesis statement must contain all four components of the magic thesis sentence formula.

This is not set in stone–you are still free to change your thesis statement any time up to the final draft. But this assignment should get you thinking about the direction that your research is going, and should provide a clear indication of what you will be arguing in your paper.

Late submissions of this assignment will not be accepted for credit.
